On Capricorn Sun, the esteemed Larry Wish presents a hyper-orchestral set of pomps, circumstances, and uncanny bizarro quasi-classical music. Channeling a character, Composerhead, Wish enters the harbor with a lordly gait, amalgamating digital music production with all the bells and whistles of naval themes, operatic swagger, and magisterial elegance. Though Capricorn Sun eschews the elegance of such providence proceedings as everything feels warbled by the waves; swells of plasticine synthesizers, cartoony candy sound design, tattering snare drum raps, and gurgly string sections paint the bay in vivid and unnatural hues. Decidedly maritime, and so grandiose in a sort of tongue-and-cheek way, this album showcases Larry Wish as Composerhead performing a riotous, absurd, and also delightful collection of new music for fans of the briny beyond. ~ Matthew Sage

This album is a nostalgia trip though the 90's era of computers. Vaporware, interactive demos and shareware. Along with early CGI videos the hardware at the time could never render in real time. Its like clicking your way though game full of pre-rendered graphics. ArkMel
