"Comb Hair" is the sixth Larry Wish album released in 2012 by Minneapolis, MN-based home recording artist Adam Wish-Werven, and a personal favorite from that very busy year! The album has an electronic carnival-like atmosphere that bobs playfully up and down throughout many of its dramatically emotional songs. "Must Be Someone", the swirling favorite for many Larry Wish & His Guys live sets, is a farewell to being haunted by demons one sometimes creates for themselves. The instrumental and creepy merry-go-round ride that is "Malady" would become another favorite for the band. "Noodle Hair" is an epic prog love song full of unexpected twists and turns, and B-side sleeper-fave "Idiot Heaven" is a celebration of processing the emotional roller coaster of life with depression and anxiety. "Comb Hair" also features covers of two beloved '90s songs, "Hold My Hand" by Hootie & The Blowfish, and "How's It Going to Be" by Third Eye Blind. Another cherished album for our Larry Wish reissue series, fans of R. Stevie Moore, Scott Walker, & Fred Frith are sure to love this one!

This album is a nostalgia trip though the 90's era of computers. Vaporware, interactive demos and shareware. Along with early CGI videos the hardware at the time could never render in real time. Its like clicking your way though game full of pre-rendered graphics. ArkMel
